LewN becomes the first newcomer to BBL Esports for VCT 2025

The Turkish organization BBL Esports has announced the signing of a 17-year-old rookie to its Valorant roster — Burak "LewN" Alkan, who previously played for another Turkish club — Galatasaray Esports. Both organizations shared the news on social media.

The Rookie

Although Burak "LewN" Alkan is currently only 17 years old, this won’t hinder the team, as he will turn 18 on November 5, allowing him to participate in the VCT competitions that will kick off in the EMEA region in January 2025. By reviewing the recruit’s stats, it’s clear why the club was drawn to him. In his last 15 matches, he achieved an average ACS of 231, demonstrating a strong influence in games (damage, kills, assists, and other gameplay aspects).

LewN's Statistics over the Last 15 Matches
Stats Avg Top
ACS 231.6 345.0
Kills 0.79 1.30
Death 0.75 0.52
Open kills 0.203 0.295
Headshots 0.66 1.00
Kill cost 4722 3085

Roster Changes

At the moment, LewN's joining in place of Melih "pAura" Karaduran is the only change in the lineup, but it may not be the last, as the transfer window opened just a few days ago. It’s important to note that LewN’s primary role is a duelist (Iso and Jett), while pAura played as a sentinel, so we can expect role changes in BBL Esports.

Debut

You can watch the rookie’s debut as soon as October 10, as he is listed in BBL Esports' lineup for the Spotlight Series EMEA 2024, with the first match against FOKUS. This is an entertainment tournament, so his performance shouldn’t be judged by these results.
