Leo Faria denies involvement of Aespa in the creation of the Valorant Champions 2024 anthem

The anthem of the upcoming World Championship is one of the most important songs that all Valorant fans will hear. While the official release of the track has not yet taken place, Riot representatives are denying rumors about which groups were involved in its creation.

Recall that after Riot Games announced the championship anthem, information appeared online that the famous Korean group Aespa would be involved in its creation. Users found evidence and began to build their own theories; read more about this in our material.

But yesterday, the head of the Valorant esports department, Leo Faria, denied this information. He stated that these were fabricated rumors, and the fact that Aespa has a track called "Supernova" is just a coincidence because the anthem of Valorant Champions 2024 will be called "Superpower."

Alright, I'll just say this - there is no Aespa at Champs. One of their new songs happens to be called Supernova, which is also a creative theme of the Champions campaign. Pure coincidence. The Championship anthem is called Superpower, and we have already announced the performers.

The official anthem of Valorant Champions 2024 is due to be released today. It will involve members of the Korean group Kiss of Life, as well as famous American rapper and singer Mark Tuan.
