Legacy is preparing for each opponent with equal attention, claims coach FLUYR

Australian team Legacy lost their first match at the Gamers Club VALORANT Challengers League Brasil 2024 tournament. Following this, coach Vinícius "FLUYR" Menegatti gave an interview to VALORANT Zone portal, where he commented on the club's defeat and elaborated on its preparation for the tournament.

The coach noted that the defeat against Stellae Gaming with a score of 0:2 was caused by insufficient attention to some basic aspects that they had been working on for the past week. He emphasized that the team showed themselves, but several unfortunate moments prevented them from winning.

In a sense, I believe we overlooked some protocols we worked on and discussed, and as a result, we were punished. We missed some theoretical aspects we talked about, and we acknowledge the skill of our opponents in shooting, decision-making, and tactical development at the moment.

Joining Legacy at the end of 2023, FLUYR brought extensive experience to the team despite the presence of young players. Responding to questions about upcoming matches, the coach stated that the team is preparing for each opponent with equal attention, without diminishing the significance of any of them.

We take every match seriously. We believe every game is important, and for us, it's like a final. We don't underestimate any team, especially considering it's the beginning of the season, and we don't know their approach to the game.

FLUYR also explained that changes in the game's meta, such as adding new characters to lineups, as well as limited information about other teams, require more thorough preparation.
