kugio leaves Twisted Minds and ends esports career

Twenty-two-year-old Hamad "kugio" Al-Thani announced on his personal Twitter page that he is leaving the team Twisted Minds and concluding his esports career.

i say it with a heavy heart that my time competing has come to an end. reached a point in life where i barely have time to game, yet compete. best decision for me is to quit competing and fully focus on my responsibilities. super glad to have been a part of Twisted Minds, wish them nothing but success and good luck

Hamad "kugio" Al-Thani has been a member of the Twisted Minds club for three months, joining it on June 11, 2023. During this short period, he participated in three events with his new team, winning one of them - Saudi eLeague 2023: Season 1. In the grand finals, Twisted Minds defeated Geekay Esports and earned around 16 thousand dollars for the team.

Current Twisted Minds Roster

  • Mohammed "Dazlly" Sultan
  • Abdullah "ExiT" Al-Twaijri
  • Ibrahim "Fr4nky" Hatem
  • Abdulhadi "Dane" Al Qahtani
  • Abdullah "Zimo" Al Amri
  • Vladimir "valder" Pospelov (coach)

Hamad "kugio" Al-Thani began his professional career on May 6, 2021. Over an extended period of more than two years, the player managed to play for four different professional clubs, winning more than 9 thousand dollars in prizes and was awarded the title of Best Player at VCL MENA: Resilience - GCC and Iraq Split 1 2023. However, on September 24, the esports athlete stated that he currently lacks the time for the game, hence he is ending his professional career.

With the active roster now counting five players after the departure of Hamad "kugio" Al-Thani, the club won't have to look for a replacement as Abdulhadi "Dane" Al Qahtani can easily step in for the departing player.
