KOI Valorant parts ways with Head Coach after this Year's VCT Season

KOI Valorant's head coach, André "BARBARR" Möller, has announced that he will be ending his collaboration with the team after this season's VCT, having worked with them for nearly two years.

The KOI organization in Valorant is going through a tough period. The team failed to perform well in VCT EMEA Stage 1, losing four out of five matches, which led to missing the Masters in Shanghai and reduced their chances of qualifying for Valorant Champions 2024. These results likely influenced the decision to part ways with head coach André "BARBARR" Möller, as hinted by the coach himself in his comment on the situation.

André "BARBARR" Möller joined KOI in 2022, marking his second professional team in his coaching career. During his two-year tenure, his best achievement with KOI was a third-place finish at VCT 2023: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, which nearly guaranteed their first participation in Valorant Champions.

I will not be around after the season is finished. Will do everything possible to try to get some positive results before the club build a Valorant division that you deserve and can be proud of.
André "BARBARR" Möller

Currently, KOI's situation in VCT EMEA Stage 2 is not the best, with the team in last place with a 1-5 record and close to missing the playoff stage and another world championship.
