Currently, the final qualifiers before the Valorant Champions 2023 World Championship are taking place in three regions: Americas, EMEA, and Pacific. Today we will talk about the professional players who have set records for the number of enemies killed and the matches in which this happened.
American Region
Unexpectedly, KRU Esports dominates the American LCQ. The top-6 team of the Latin American ranking effortlessly defeats all opponents, so it's no surprise that the first player on our list is from KRU Esports.
This 21-year-old Chilean is currently the record holder for the number of kills across all regions where the LCQ is taking place. He achieved his record in a match against FURIA Esports in the quarter-finals of the playoff stage. On the first map, Split, the player earned 20 kills, on the second Ascent 22 frags, and on the last Bind as many as 29. Making 71 frags in a match, Keznit became the MVP of this meeting.
The 100Thieves player is second on our list. In a match against Sentinels, he made 65 kills on 3 maps: 32 on Pearl, 15 on Split, and 18 on Bind. Despite such a number of enemy kills, the team was unable to win, as a result of which the team left the tournament in the 5-6th place and lost the chance to get to Valorant Champions 2023.
A participant in the same 100Thieves vs. Sentinels match, but this time from the side of the latter. He managed to score 62 frags on the following maps: Pearl 26, Split 16, Bind 20. Despite having fewer kills than the headliner of the opposing team, Sentinels won and knocked 100Thieves out of the tournament.
Pacific Region
The situation in the Pacific region is still quite odd, as one of the favorites, Talon Esports, unexpectedly left the tournament. Meanwhile, the teams predicted to drop out the quickest are performing well and are still participating in the competition. The region's dynamics are entirely reflected in our list because all the kill record holders have surprisingly made almost the same number of frags.
Talon Esports participant opens our list. In the match against Gen.G Esports, he scored 68 frags on 3 maps: Pearl 30, Split 21, Haven 17, earning the MVP title. Despite such a number of kills, the team couldn't secure the victory, ending their tournament run with a 1-2 score.
Next up is an esports athlete who made 67 kills; it's a participant from Rex Regum Qeon. In the match against ZETA DIVISION, Tehbotol earned on 3 maps: Haven 19, Split 22, Ascent 26. Despite losing to the favorites, Rex Regum Qeon still remains in the tournament. They dropped to the lower bracket where they will face Gen.G Esports for the right to continue their performance at the LCQ Pacific.
The third spot is held by a participant from Gen.G Esports, who according to KDA became the best among all the following record holders. In the match against Talon Esports, TS made 66 kills on 3 maps: Pearl 19, Split 24, Haven 23, securing a victory and eliminating their rivals from the tournament.
The Pacific region list ends with another participant in the match against Rex Regum Qeon, but from the ZETA DIVISION side. Dep scored 66 frags on 3 maps: Ascent 42, Split 18, Haven 6. Although not all maps went perfectly for ZETA DIVISION, they managed to win and continue their performance in the upper bracket final.
EMEA Region
The last region on our list, but not least in significance. Because it is in the LCQ EMEA that the player who made the most kills in a match among all regions is located.
We were talking about this participant from Karmine Corp earlier. In the first match of the tournament against BBL Esports, ScreaM made a record 75 kills on 3 maps: Haven 22, Lotus 22, Bind 31. Thanks to this, he won the MVP title not only in this match, but possibly in the whole tournament.
The main rival of the record holder, both in terms of the number of kills per match and in the direct sense. The participant from BBL Esports in the match against Karmine Corp also made a significant number of kills, 62 on three maps: Haven 21, Lotus 20, Bind 21. Although such a number didn't bring the team victory, so BBL Esports left the tournament in 5-6th place.
Closing our list is a player from KOI, who are the main favorites of the current tournament. In the match against Team Heretics, Wolfen earned 61 kills, bringing the team victory and a place in our top. Fracture 16 frags, Pearl 25, Haven 20, brought him the MVP title of the match. As of today, KOI have secured a place in the upper bracket final, where they will fight with Giants for a place in the grand final.
Let's remember that the Last Chance Qualifier in all regions is not over yet, so new record holders may appear in the future. To not miss such an event, we recommend you to follow our website, which has all the relevant statistics about professional players in Valorant.
