During the match against G2 Esports, he was denied the opportunity to request a tactical pause on the third map of the series, despite his full right to do so.

Adam "kaplan" Kaplan explained his actions, noting that it is important for fans to see that their team acts promptly. The coach commented that the judges denied him the opportunity to request a pause when the score was 12:7 on the Split map. However, according to him, one round later, they admitted their mistake. He also added that by that time their team was already gaining momentum, so he made the decision not to interrupt the game.

Despite losing the series, Sentinels still advanced to the Americas Kickoff playoffs, securing their spot through victories in additional matches. They defeated MIBR with a score of 2:0 and finished the intermediate stage with a positive map balance.
