At the Esports Awards 2024, Jawgemo from G2 Esports was crowned the winner in the "Esports Play of the Year" category for his outstanding performance at the VCT AMERICAS 2024.

The defining moment that earned Jawgemo the award was his ace in the match against NRG. He started by dodging a flash and securing a kill with the Bucky, followed by another kill with the same weapon. He then finished the series with three kills using the Blade Storm, earning him the ace.
