Japanese organization DetonatioN FocusMe bids farewell to three members of the Valorant team

The management of DetonatioN FocusMe is actively preparing for the start of VCT 2024: Pacific Kickoff. Today, it was announced that the team will part ways with two players, Seo "Suggest" Jae-young, Cho "JoXJo" Byung-yeon, and head coach Kohei "XrayN" Shimaki.

The club's management made this announcement on their official website. According to the statement, the decision to end the cooperation was mutual. Representatives of the team expressed their gratitude to the former members and shared information about their contributions to the team's history.

We have decided to terminate contracts with players Suggest, JoXJo, and coach XrayN, all of whom belong to the VALORANT division, by mutual agreement. I would like to thank you for your efforts and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

The three members have made significant contributions to the team's history. Seo "Suggest" Jae-young joined the team in October 2022 when the organization unveiled its refreshed roster. He represented the club in all major tournaments in 2023 but did not achieve significant victories. Cho "JoXJo" Byung-yeon began playing under the organization's banner only in late 2023 and participated in just one show match at Riot Games ONE PRO INVITATIONAL 2023. Head coach Kohei "XrayN" Shimaki has been with the club since July 2023, showing promising results and being promoted from a tactical coach to the head coach position.

After these changes, the DetonatioN FocusMe roster has significantly weakened ahead of the upcoming important tournament. We will follow the official information to find out who will join the team before the crucial event.
