iZu: "My goal is to become the most famous Valorant player"

VCT 2024 Pacific kickoff started on February 17th, but already the statements of T1 player iZu after the match against Bleed Esports have become the subject of wide discussions among the team's fans.

iZu, who started his career last year in the Japanese team Jadeite and took second place in Split2, is now moving forward, joining the Korean giants T1 in the second year of his professional journey. In JDT, he played as a duelist AIM, but in T1 he shows his versatility, playing agents like Yoru, Sova, and some controllers. iZu, a player for T1, gave an interview after the exciting victory. When asked about his feelings after the match, he shared his impressions:

There was quite a long pause, and considering it was my first match in the Pacific, it was difficult to keep focus. However, my teammates helped me to concentrate and supported me. Thanks to their help, I was able to show a good result, and in my opinion, we deserved this victory.

When asked about his prospects, iZu agreed with the opinion of him as a promising player. He also shared his ambitious goals for the current and future years. He stated that his goal is to win the Pacific trophy, and in the future, become the most famous player in the discipline akin to Faker from League of Legends.

In the future, I want to be a player who is remembered when mentioning Valorant, as they do with Faker in League of Legends.

Every year, new stars emerge in the world of Valorant, but so far, there is no player who has become the face of this scene like Faker in League of Legends. Despite being 19 years old, iZu could become such a player in the coming years.
