At the VCT 2024 PACIFIC KICKOFF tournament, the Bleed Esports team suffered a setback in their match against Global Esports, losing 1-2. Player yay did not perform at his best, causing concern among community members.
In the game against Global Esports, yay played as an operator, but at certain points, his reaction after spotting opponents significantly slowed down. This could have been due to him focusing on the map, but likely also due to the vision problems described by yay. The North American community expressed a lot of support and concern after this post was published.
Indeed, it was a tough day for us. I myself don't understand what happened during the last game. I've never had such vision problems during a match before. At times, I felt like I couldn't react adequately even when seeing the opponent on the screen. And the strangest thing is, I still can't understand what caused all of this. I understand that some may be disappointed in my performance, but I urge you, do not blame the coach or my teammates. If anyone needs to be blamed, it's only me.
man you guys are brutal

not sure what happened that last series. ive never had my vision start becoming blurry during a game. there were people on my screen sometimes and I didnt even react. and the worst part is I have no idea what caused it
I know some of you are mad but…
In 2022, yay was recognized as one of the best players in the world, but due to changes in game mechanics and characters, such as Jet and Chamber, last year was a challenging one for him. This season, he plays as a flex for Bleed Esports but is facing difficulties. The next tournament is scheduled for April as part of Stage1, and everyone hopes to see this outstanding player fully recover his gaming form.
