“I don’t like watching stuff about myself too often, like in my free time...When I used to play CS, I used to read anything and everything about myself and I realized that it would kind of tank my mental" pic.twitter.com/oiIAgKgo3i
In his video, Josh ‘Sideshow’ Wilkinson thoroughly analyzed the Canadian player, dissected many of his moments and exposed all facets of his gameplay. Afterwards, fans of the esports player asked TenZ if he agreed with the analysis and where the analyst might have gotten things wrong. Tyson replied that he isn't very interested in content about himself and he tries to avoid it, mainly because in the past, when he was a professional CS:GO player, he paid too much attention to it.
I don't really like watching stuff about myself in my free time. I try not to click on anything. When I played Counter-Strike, I would read everything about myself and realized it kind of clouded my judgment... To be honest, I'm not brash and not the most confident person, so I can't handle any hits because it feels embarrassing.
It should be noted that TenZ, as part of his current team Sentinels, didn't have a successful competitive season. The team failed in two major tournaments, and the recent qualifiers for the world championship in the American region, Last Chance Qualifier, ended in 4th place, causing the team to miss the main event of the year. Despite all the rumors, the organization re-signed the player, showing that their faith in the 22-year-old player is still intact.
