The in-game leader of the American team 100Thieves, Kelden "Boostio" Pupello, continues to amaze the Valorant community with interesting statements. After the recent victory over LOUD, Kelden declared that he is the best in-game leader in the world.
The situation occurred during the playoffs of VCT 2024: Americas Stage 1, where last night 100Thieves defeated LOUD with scores of 13-6 on Bind and 13-4 on Icebox. As a result, the Brazilian team left the tournament and lost their chance to qualify for Masters Shanghai.
It was after this that the captain of 100Thieves published his statement about his greatness. However, the situation with mocking the opponents began a few days earlier. In his official Twitter account, Boostio initially repeated the phrase "I will not say anything bad about LOUD" several times. This is a reference to the famous cartoon The Simpsons, where one of the main characters constantly promised not to do something. Later, a few hours before the match, Boostio addressed the leader of LOUD and said that he would mix him and his team with the mud.
As it becomes clear, Boostio kept his promise and outplayed the opponents with a crushing score. Thanks to this, his team advanced to the next round of the playoffs, where they will meet Leviatan tomorrow for the right to proceed to the upper bracket final of the championship.
