After the team Evil Geniuses' victory at Valorant Champions 2023, which includes member Max "Demon1" Mazanov, the organization faced financial difficulties. The management informed their players that despite the successful season, their salaries would be reduced. Instead, the organization offered to increase the percentage from the sale of in-game skins. Rumors suggest that if a player does not agree to the new terms, the organization considers holding them until the end of their current contract, rejecting any offers for their buyout.
