Global Esports and Rex Regum Qeon claim their first wins at VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff – Day 2 results

As the second day of competition at VCT 2025: Pacific Kickoff concluded, new winners emerged. Global Esports secured a victory against their opponents, earning a spot in the tournament’s upper bracket quarterfinals. Rex Regum Qeon also joined them in advancing to the quarterfinal stage.

Global Esports vs. Team Secret

The match between Global Esports (GE) and Team Secret (TS) was arguably the least exciting event of the tournament so far. Despite roster updates, both teams still appear to be tournament underdogs. Nevertheless, GE outperformed their opponents and demonstrated a clear advantage.

Although GE suffered a quick loss on the first map, which TS had evidently prepared well, the team quickly turned the tables, dominating the subsequent maps and securing a confident victory.

Rex Regum Qeon vs. DetonatioN FocusMe

Unlike the first match of the day, the clash between Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) and DetonatioN FocusMe (DFM) kept the audience intrigued until the very end. The first map saw both teams battling neck-and-neck, with DFM eventually clinching the win. However, RRQ showed exceptional preparation on the second map, as evidenced by the decisive final score. The third map followed a similar script, delivering RRQ a swift and commanding victory.
