Gen.G organization bids farewell to its female Valorant roster

The American organization Gen.G announced on its social media about the complete disbandment of its female Valorant team. The organization expressed gratitude to the players for their time and dedicated work.

Today, we officially part ways with Gen.G Black.

Having joined as a developmental GC team, we're proud of each member's growth during our time together. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication; we can't wait to see your next steps.

The entire roster, including the coaching staff, was signed on April 3, 2023, just one day before the start of the qualifiers for the first series of Game Changers tournaments in the North American region. The team failed to pass the closed qualifiers, finishing their performance in the open qualifier stage, losing their first match with a score of 0:2 maps.

After the unsuccessful performance, the team set out to rectify their mistakes and improve their gameplay to come out of the open qualifiers for the VCT Game Changers North America Series season 2 2023. Before the qualifiers, the team participated in the Knights Arena Sakura Cup #14, where they managed to take 3rd-4th place.
