Gen.G Esports leave no chance for DFM, while ZETA Division lose yet another match — VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1

On April 5, Gen.G Esports faced DetonatioN FocusMe, while ZETA Division took on Rex Regum Qeon as part of VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1. Both matches ended in clean sweeps.

Gen.G Esports vs DetonatioN FocusMe

This match was hardly memorable — DetonatioN FocusMe looked as if they hadn’t even shown up. On Gen.G’s map pick (Lotus), the Japanese team managed to win only two rounds. On their own pick (Fracture), they doubled that, but still lost 13:4. The match ended in a swift and nearly flawless 2:0 win for Gen.G Esports. Their current record in Group Alpha stands at 2:1, while DFM now have three losses from three matches. One more, and their playoff hopes will be gone.

ZETA Division vs Rex Regum Qeon

ZETA Division showed more determination compared to their previous match. Although they lost their own map pick (Split) 13:6, they displayed some preparation on Rex Regum Qeon’s map, even leading at one point (5:9). However, RRQ pulled themselves together and won eight rounds in a row, closing the series 2:0.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 1 runs from March 22 to May 11. Twelve teams are competing for three slots at VCT 2025: Masters Toronto and valuable Pacific Points needed for qualification to VALORANT Champions. You can find more results and upcoming match schedules on our media via link.
