On November 28, the Game Changers 2023 Championship, the largest and most important tournament on the inclusive scene, begins. Eight top teams from each region will compete for the title until December 3 in this global championship.
Evil Geniuses is another representative from the North American region in the tournament. The team arrived in Brazil thanks to the efforts made throughout the VCT season of 2023. This will be the first championship for the EG lineup, excluding Lorrian "Lorri" Elad.
The EG team consists solely of players from the North American region. Throughout the year, the organization changed its rosters but couldn't create a stable roster capable of showing the best results. Throughout the year, Evil Geniuses performance in Game Changers NA was unsatisfactory. The team smoothly passed the first two stages, going through open qualifiers without major problems. However, at the main stages, the team's performance was unsuccessful, and Evil Geniuses finished in sixth place in both situations. As a result, the team did not accumulate many points in the rankings and could not qualify for the world tournament through the rankings.
The last and decisive chance for the team was to conquer the third stage of Game Changers NA. After the defeats in the first two stages, success was not guaranteed. Thanks to a significant contribution to the third stage, Evil Geniuses still managed to qualify for the Women's World Championship 2023.
At the Game Changers 2023 Championship, Evil Geniuses may surprise and go far, but it will depend on the form the team shows at the tournament. If it is the same form as in Game Changers NA, they may encounter significant challenges.
