The teams G2 Esports and EDward Gaming won their matches in Group D and advanced to the top bracket final, where they will decide who will get a slot in the Valorant Champions 2024 playoffs.
Group D, which started its journey at Valorant Champions 2024 last, is one of the toughest in the tournament. All the teams deserve to reach the playoffs, but only two teams out of four will get this opportunity. We will know one of them very soon.
Despite the high competition, both of today's matches ended with a score of 2:0. G2 Esports defeated Paper Rex, and EDward Gaming defeated FUT Esports. The winners will meet in the next match and play for a slot in the playoffs, while the losers will play in the elimination match.
Valorant Champions 2024 takes place from August 1 to 25, 2024 in Seoul. 16 partner teams, 4 from each competitive region, will compete for a total prize pool of $2,250,000, as well as the world title and the title of the strongest team next year.
