Founder and CEO of 100Thieves steps down from Valorant activities

Recently, interesting information has emerged from the founder and CEO of the American organization 100Thieves - Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag. He has announced that he plans to temporarily step down from his activities in Valorant and switch to COD MW3.

In his Twitter account, Matthew posted a short compilation of his best moments in Valorant. Following this, he wrote that after the release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, he plans to completely stop his gaming and Valorant-related content for some time.

Publishing the last video before the release of MW3. We're doing a side quest with scump, Methodz, and BoZe to win Challengers in '24. VALORANT will likely take a backseat for a while, but we've reached a peak of about 200 RR at our Immortal 2, so I'm pleased with what we've achieved over the last few months. I still hope to get Radiant someday, but that will have to wait.

Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag is a professional Call of Duty player who, over his career, has played for many prestigious clubs and has numerous titles under his belt, including a world championship win in 2011. In Valorant, he does not play on the professional scene but plays solely for himself. Along with other members of the OpTic Gaming COD squad, he spends his free time increasing his Valorant rating, and even jokingly set a goal for himself to make it to the Challengers league in 2024. Interestingly, thanks to his experience in COD, Nadeshot managed to reach the Immortal rank and promised that he would achieve Radiant in the future.

It should be noted that this decision will not affect the 100Thieves Valorant roster in any way. As Matthew reports, his own content for the Riot shooter is just temporarily suspended, but he assures that he will definitely return in the future and achieve the Radiant rank.
