Team FOKUS has become the fourth and last invited team for the European qualifiers of the Red Bull Home Ground 4 tournament. Over two days, four teams will compete for a single spot in the main event, which will take place in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.

It's unclear why exactly FOKUS received a direct invitation. There were many top European teams that did not get an invite to the main event or the qualifiers. We assume that the top European teams declined to participate in order to rest after the conclusion of the current season and prepare their roster for the upcoming VCT. Interestingly, three out of the four invited participants, except for the female roster of G2 Esports, haven't finalized their roster, so the team compositions during the qualifiers will be a surprise for their fans.

In addition to the anticipated surprise regarding team announcements, we will also be watching the competition between the female and male Valorant scenes. This is the first time that a female team, G2 Gozen, will be participating in such a major event alongside male teams.

To note, the European qualifiers for Red Bull Home Ground 4 will take place from October 14th to 15th in Istanbul. Four teams will be vying for a single slot in the main event, which will be held from November 3rd to 5th in the Japanese capital, Tokyo. This event is part of the recently announced OFF//SEASON series events.
