FNS leaves NRG VALORANT and retires from professional play

Pujan "FNS" Mehta has officially parted ways with NRG’s VALORANT roster and announced his retirement from professional competition. The organization shared the news via its official page on social platform X.

Pujan "FNS" Mehta returned to the professional VALORANT scene in 2024 after a two-year break, joining NRG exactly one year ago. During his time with the team, he competed in several events, including three Valorant Champions Tour league tournaments, all of which ended with 7–8th place finishes. However, NRG claimed victory in two offseason events — the SOOP VALORANT League 2024 and SEN City Classic 2024 — earning a total of $35,000 in prize money.

As of this writing, FNS has not publicly commented on his retirement, leaving his future plans unclear. However, considering that after his previous retirement he became a content creator for G2 Esports, there’s reason to believe he may follow a similar path this time.

NRG’s next tournament is expected to be the online qualifier for the Esports World Cup 2025, which has yet to be officially announced. After that, their likely final event of the year will be VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 in July, where two slots for Champions will be on the line.
