Despite a disappointing start to the season and a forced roster change before the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: EMEA Stage 2, Fnatic claimed victory in the tournament by defeating Team Vitality.
The season's start for Fnatic did not go as fans and probably the players themselves had expected. Despite their dominance in 2023 on both the international and European stages, the team placed 3rd-4th at VCT 2024: EMEA Kickoff, causing them to miss the first international tournament of 2024. However, the team's subsequent successes prove that 2023 was no fluke.
Fnatic defeated Team Vitality in the grand final of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: EMEA Stage 2 with a score of 3:1. For this victory, the team received $100,000, a trophy, and a slot at Valorant Champions 2024. Like Team Vitality, Fnatic earned the right to participate in the tournament, but thanks to their victory, they will have a better seeding compared to other teams that did not win the VCT in the second stage.

Valorant Champions 2024 will take place from August 1 to 25, 2024, in Seoul. Sixteen partner teams, four from each competitive region, will compete for a total prize pool of $2,250,000, as well as the title of world champion and the strongest team for the next year.
