FNATIC Boaster criticizes Riot Games for restrictions on the Valorant stage

World-renowned player Jake "Boaster" Howlett, leading the European team FNATIC, has criticized Riot Games for the limitations on the use of tactical notebooks and instructions on the Valorant stage. The player has called on developers to make changes to tournament rules.

Currently, according to the established rules, nothing except players' peripherals is allowed on the stage, making performances less comfortable for many players. Only coaches can access playbooks, which can be used during breaks.

This call was made after Boaster posted an image of Finn "karrigan" Andersen, captain of the Counter-Strike team FaZe Clan, who had his playbook on the table during the World Championship. In his message, Boaster expressed disappointment that Riot Games does not allow players to bring items onto the stage and expressed hope for a change in this policy.

As one of the dominant teams in 2023, FNATIC did not participate in Masters Madrid at the beginning of the 2024 season. However, the European team is preparing for their debut at VCT EMEA Stage 1, where they will compete in two days.
