First changes after a tense season - Flex1n leaves Bilibili Gaming

Chinese tier-1 teams also make changes to their Valorant rosters, although not as frequently as teams from other regions. Today, it was revealed that Bilibili Gaming, which competes in VCT China, has begun making adjustments and has parted ways with Luo "Flex1n" Rui.

Farewell to the player

On their Weibo account (the Chinese equivalent of Twitter), representatives of Bilibili Gaming posted an announcement. In it, the club's management stated that after long discussions with Flex1n, both parties decided to end their cooperation, and the team thanked the player for his contribution.

After thorough communication and negotiations between both parties, the player Flex1n has officially left the team. Time flies, and laughter and tears intertwine on the days of fighting side by side. Since joining BLG, Flex1n has always trained diligently and persistently, providing the team with more opportunities and contributing to the team's development. Thank you, Flex1n, for your dedication and hard work.

The player's contribution to the team's history

Luo "Flex1n" Rui is a 23-year-old Chinese player who joined Bilibili only 4 months ago, in early June 2024. During this time, he participated in only two events – VCT 2024: China Stage 2, where the team finished in 4th place, and VALORANT Champions 2024, where his team was eliminated in the 13th-16th positions. Interestingly, during these tournaments, his performance was quite inconsistent. In his first match at the World Championship, he was the best player on his team and topped the post-match standings, while in the second match, he ranked second-to-last in terms of stats. It is difficult to assess Flex1n's overall contribution to the team, as he spent very little time with them, but ultimately, the management decided not to continue the partnership.

The player himself has yet to comment on the end of the collaboration, so it's unclear what his plans for the future are. It should be noted that Bilibili Gaming still has 5 active players on their roster, so they may not need to look for a replacement unless the management plans to part ways with other players.
