First bugs found on Updated Lotus map in Valorant

With the major update released alongside the eighth episode, Valorant underwent numerous changes, including alterations to the landscapes of some maps. An interesting issue, which can be considered a bug, was discovered by the gaming community on the updated Lotus map.

It is worth noting that in episode 8, the long-awaited map Icebox returned to the general rotation after being absent for 260 days. Riot Games also made some changes to the Lotus map, among which they slowed down the unique rotating doors and made adjustments to the landscape. The new bug found by the community is related to these recent changes. At the Spike C installation point, there's a small stone pillar which some agents can now use to gain an advantage. This was reported by the content creator and coach of the Japanese team ZETA DIVISION - Sawada "JUNiOR" Yuya.

In his Twitter account, Sawada posted a video demonstrating the interaction of the agent Jett with this column. Thanks to her ability 'Updraft', Jett can jump to the top of the pillar, from where she can effectively control all approaches to the point and catch enemies by surprise. Interestingly, the agent Omen immediately falls down after teleporting to the top of the pillar, so for now, this bug only works with Jett.

Considering that not all agents can use this feature, it can be assumed that this is definitely a bug. We will wait for official comments or fixes from Riot Games.
