Yesterday, representatives of the Japanese esports organization FENNEL announced on their Twitter account a violation by one of their Valorant team members. 17-year-old player Yuto "Xdll" Mizomori was suspected of smurfing and playing on someone else's account, resulting in his suspension until the investigation is concluded.

While there are no main details of the situation yet, FENNEL representatives reported that the young esports athlete, in order to increase his rank on his own account, used another account and was consequently suspected of smurfing. The player later admitted to the offense, prompting the decision to initiate an internal investigation, the details and report of which will be presented shortly.
This time, we wanted to inform you about certain actions taken by XdN, a member of the VALORANT division, which were deemed inappropriate. We continue the investigation to clarify the facts, but the member has already acknowledged these facts. As a temporary measure, the member will not participate in tournaments or events in October and November 2023, and we will inform about further steps after a thorough investigation.
As stated by team representatives, Xdll's actions did not involve any financial violations, but despite this, the player will be excluded from the main lineup for the next two months. We remind you that the team is facing an important tournament during the off-season - Red Bull Home Ground #4, so changes in the roster may negatively affect the performance of the Japanese club.
