Fenerbahçe Esports has brought cacan back to the roster ahead of the start of VALORANT Challengers 2024 Turkey

The Turkish organization Fenerbahçe Esports finalized their roster shortly before VALORANT Challengers 2024 Turkey: Birlik Split 1, which kicks off on January 20. The latest addition to the team is Mert "cacan" Çaçan, who had previously played for the same club.

The second season didn't go smoothly for the young Fenerbahçe Esports club. Throughout 2023, the team didn't show significant improvements, failing to qualify for VCT 2023: Ascension EMEA. Their most successful performance was securing the second spot at Open Fire All Stars 2023, where Fenerbahçe Esports competed against numerous opponents from seasonal regional tournaments. This suggests an improvement in the team's form as they approach the next VCT.

Mert "cacan" Çaçan started his journey with the now-defunct Mod-Z Esports team, whose roster transitioned to Fenerbahçe Esports. After a few months of setbacks, the organization disbanded the roster, and three players, including cacan, joined Digital Athletics, for whom he played throughout that period.

Cacan will take the place of Göktuğ "Patrui" Uyan, who served as a temporary player for Fenerbahçe Esports. In just a few days, the player will compete with the team in VALORANT Challengers 2024 Turkey: Birlik Split 1 for the opportunity to advance in the VCL season.
