The last roster of FaZe Clan:
Main reasons for disbanding the roster
Over the past year, the FaZe Clan team managed to earn only $3,000 for the team, finishing in 5th-6th place at the VCL North America Challenger 2023 tournament. This place guarantees the organization a spot in the next season of the league among Tier-2 teams.
The team also ranked 11th in the ranking of American teams. Such "good" results did not satisfy the organization, and it made the tough decision to say goodbye to the team and, possibly, leave the discipline.
VCT Format Issues
After the season ended, it became known that already the third influential collective in the Valorant discipline in the American league has disbanded their squad. This clearly confirms that the current format of tournaments in the game is possibly not ideal. Particularly for organizations and players who have nothing to play for after a poor season performance.
As a result, some teams decide to completely disband their roster, and organizations facing financial challenges are forced to leave the Valorant discipline. This scenario underscores the need to review the tournament format and create a conducive environment for the development and growth of players and teams in the Valorant game.
