FAV Gaming announces search for new teams for players Minty and bazz

Japanese esports team FAV Gaming has announced its intention to find new teams for its Valorant players, Minty and bazz. According to the statement, the transfer of each player will require a transfer fee, and the process will be completed once the team secures participation in VCJ 2024 Split 3.

Minty began his esports career in 2018, joining the Fortnite scene and starting as a professional player with SunSister in February 2019. Over two years, he earned over 1 million yen in prize money in the Japanese and Asian scenes. In 2020, Minty transitioned to Valorant and signed with FAV Gaming in November of the same year. With the team, he achieved 4th place at VCT 2021 Japan Masters, but in June 2021, he signed with Crazy Raccoon.

After participating in VCT 2021 Japan Stage 2 and securing a spot in VCT 2021 Masters Berlin, Minty faced communication issues at the international tournament, leading to his replacement in the starting lineup and the termination of his contract in December 2021. He returned to FAV Gaming in January 2022.

bazz began his career in Splatoon around 2019 and won Splatoon Koshien 2020. At the end of that year, he announced his transition to Valorant and started his career with FIRST Gaming in October 2020, where he placed 6th at VCT 2021 Japan Masters in March 2021. In June 2021, bazz signed with FAV Gaming. In 2022, he achieved 4th place at VCT 2022 Japan Stage 1, but in 2023, the team started showing poor results.

Despite efforts to strengthen the team, including recruiting Korean players and young players from the academy team, results did not improve, and the team failed to qualify for broadcast matches in VCJ 2023 and VCJ 2024.

FAV Gaming continues to seek opportunities for its players and hopes for a successful completion of the transfer process.
