A Valorant enthusiast, combining their passion for the game with development skills, has introduced a new educational project. His website, functioning as a league manager from Riot Games, is inspired by the experience with a similar application for League of Legends known as LOL GM.
"In recent months, I delved into the development of VAL GM - a project based on LOL GM, designed to manage electronic sports in the world of Valorant. My initial goal was to gain more experience in analyzing code from other developers."
Currently, three franchise leagues are available on the website: Americas, EMEA, and Asia. It's important to note that teams and players presented on the site are not affiliated with official structures and were created by the project's author. Decavacado emphasized that the work on the project is not yet finished, and its further development is not ruled out.
The game has not reached full readiness due to the need to add certain mechanics (possibly due to the complexity of the base code). Overall, this project is just a part of the developer's educational experience that he decided to share to gather opinions from others.
In the original post, the developer also provided a link to the GitHub VAL GM for those interested in actively participating in the project's development.
