The situation with the American organization Evil Geniuses has long been a hot topic in the Valorant community, but the end of it remains uncertain. Today, another post appeared online from a well-known editor, insisting that the pressure on EG must continue until they ultimately dissolve.
In his Twitter account, the Washington Post editor with the nickname LeaderGrev, shared his thoughts on the future of Evil Geniuses in Valorant. He believes that the community should continue to pressure the organization until it disbands. LeaderGrev reports that EG representatives plan to continue their performance in the upcoming Valorant season to ultimately receive awards from Riot Games.
I am firmly convinced that fans and relevant stakeholders should put pressure on Evil Geniuses, who are currently the owners, to cease operations. The idea of a season played solely for the purpose of profit should be categorically condemned. Any staff layoffs that complicate EG's work, any demanding rule that Riot might apply against Peak6 — these would be good actions to try to stop what we seem to be getting in 2024.
It should be noted that Evil Geniuses are keeping their players in a “contractual prison” and are rejecting most offers from other teams, or greatly inflating the price. Although there have been recent rumors that one of the main roster members, Ethan "Ethan" Arnold, might soon leave the team. Read more about this in our material.
As always, the organization does not comment on any accusations against it, so we can only wait for future developments. It can be assumed that the dissatisfaction of the community will eventually take its toll, and the era of Evil Geniuses will come to an end.
