Evil Geniuses officially stays in Valorant and introduces roster for the 2024 season

Despite rumors of a possible exit from the discipline, the organization Evil Geniuses has officially announced that it remains in the VCT Americas League and has introduced its team roster for this year's competitive season.

Despite the financial difficulties faced by Evil Geniuses, the management decided to stay in the Valorant discipline. One possible factor that may have influenced this decision is the release of team skins in the game, from which the organization will receive profits. This can positively impact the organization's finances, as the club will receive additional support from its fans.

Each of the four new members of the team, as well as Alexander "jawgemo" Mor, received individual video announcements on the club's social networks. These videos last about one minute on average and feature the most interesting moments of the players, their impressions, and thoughts about the 2024 season, including mentions of the "contract jail" situation. Besides the players, the coaching staff has expanded, with Mike "pho" Panza joining Evil Geniuses as an assistant coach/manager.

Updated Evil Geniuses roster

  • Alexander "jawgemo" Mor
  • Vincent "Apotheon" Le
  • Derrek "Derrek" Ha
  • Nicholas "NaturE" Garrison
  • Phat "supamen" Le
  • Christine "potter" Chi (head coach)
  • Mike "pho" Panza (assistant coach/manager)

Evil Geniuses' debut match will take place in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Kickoff, which is scheduled to start on February 16th. Eleven American teams will compete for two slots at VCT 2024: Masters Madrid and 3 Americas Points.
