The North American esports organization Evil Geniuses officially announced on December 23 the extension of the contract with their VALORANT head coach, Christine "potter" Chi, until the end of 2027.
The 38-year-old potter began her esports career in 2006, competing in CS 1.6. She achieved significant success, winning prestigious tournaments such as ESWC in 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011. After transitioning to CS:GO in 2012, potter continued performing at the highest level, adding ESWC 2012 and 2015 titles to her trophy collection.
In 2018, potter shifted to working as a commentator and analyst for major tournaments, including BLAST Pro Series, DreamHack, EPICENTER, and FLASHPOINT. She also took on coaching roles for young teams and worked as a streamer, actively promoting women in esports.

In 2021, potter transitioned from Counter-Strike to VALORANT, initially as a player for Evil Geniuses. A few months later, she took on the role of head coach and began developing a unique approach to team management. In 2023, she introduced an innovative 10-player roster structure, which led Evil Geniuses to victory at VALORANT Champions 2023.
