Due to unspecified issues, Riot Games are disabling the Escalation mode in Valorant

The shooter from Riot Games, besides the usual Competitive mode, offers players the chance to play several other modes. Unexpectedly, unknown problems have arisen with the Escalation mode, causing the developers to disable it until the next updates.

This decision became known from a post on Valorant's official Twitter account. The company representatives do not disclose the problem but only inform that with the release of patch 9.01, which will be available on July 16, the Escalation mode will be unavailable for play, with its return planned for patch 9.03.

Escalation will be disabled on all platforms due to an issue, on July 16 when patch 9.01 becomes available. The mode will return in patch 9.03.

Remember that the Escalation mode is a Team Deathmatch mode in which two teams of 5 compete. Players start the game with a random agent, and their task is to kill opponents and progress through 12 escalation levels. At each new level, participants will receive new tools that will help them more effectively kill the opponents.

It is still unknown exactly when the mode will return. Riot representatives state that it will be with the update 9.03, but no exact release date is mentioned. Therefore, fans of the Escalation mode can only wait and hope that the patch will be released as soon as possible.
