Due to funding issues, the Turtle Troop organization is parting ways with their head coach

Teams without organizational support in Valorant often struggle with various challenges, with the main issue being a lack of funding. This is exactly the problem that the American team Turtle Troop has encountered, leading to their decision to end their collaboration with head coach Jacob "Daeda" Hale.

Daeda himself announced the farewell from the team on his official Twitter account. The head coach mentioned that he enjoyed working with Turtle Troop and believed that the current roster had a good chance of making it to the Ascension Contenders tournament. However, due to financial difficulties, he is unable to continue fulfilling his duties.

Unfortunately, my time at TTR has come to an end. We built a roster that I believe has a decent shot at Ascension given the right conditions, but due to financial reasons and opportunities I have moved on from the project.

Jacob "Daeda" Hale took on the role of head coach in September 2023. Under his leadership, Turtle Troop achieved significant success in the Valorant competitive scene. The team won two stages of the Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2023 in October and November, and also secured the second place in the Liquid Open 2023 - North America.

Considering the team's achievements under Daeda's guidance, it can be concluded that their collaboration ended solely due to financial issues. It is currently unclear whether the team will continue to compete without a head coach or if they will be searching for a replacement.
