Ducky leaves NOVITA EMUs after only two months of collaboration

The European collective NOVITA EMUs introduced their women's Valorant roster at the beginning of 2024, but just a few months later, the team is already undergoing its first changes. It has recently become known that coach Daniel "Ducky" Duong, who had only been collaborating with the team for two months, is leaving the organization.

Ducky announced this decision on his official Twitter account. Interestingly, the coach did not disclose what specifically caused such a swift end to the collaboration, only stating that he is open to new opportunities in any region and coaching position.

Daniel "Ducky" Duong is a 32-year-old American coach who joined NOVITA EMUs in March 2024. During his time, the team participated in many tournaments but failed to achieve significant success. The club went through the open qualifiers for VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA Contenders Series 2, but the tournament ended for them in 25-32nd place, resulting in the team not advancing to the next stage, Stage 3. Perhaps these results were a factor in the end of the collaboration between Ducky and the organization.

For now, it is unknown whether Daniel has received offers from other teams, so we will follow his social media to learn about the coach’s plans on the Valorant esports scene.
