Dplus KIA announces major roster update for Valorant

On October 17, the team Dplus KIA, previously known as DAMWON Gaming, announced the signing of four new players to their Valorant roster: Only1, Bangnan, kAyle, and RedLight.

Only1

19-year-old Only1 began his Valorant career in 2023, signing with the Korean team CNJ esports. He performed well in the VCK 2023 Split 2. In January 2024, Only1 moved to SCARZ, where he helped the team qualify for the open qualifiers of VCJ 2024 Split 1, but the team finished the main stage with two wins and five losses.

Bangnan

23-year-old Bangnan entered the competitive scene in 2020 and played for several Korean teams, including DAMWON Gaming and Lunatic-hai. In March 2023, he signed with Good 8 Squad, but the team failed to qualify for VCJ 2023 Split 2, and his contract ended a month later. In August of the same year, Bangnan joined VARREL and helped the team reach the playoffs for the first time in VCJ 2024 Split 1.

kAyle

24-year-old kAyle started his career in CS in 2016 and played for teams MVP and Vision Strikers before moving to PUBG, where he earned over $170,000 in prize money. In 2022, he decided to try his hand at Valorant, signing with the Japanese team BC SWELL, and in May 2024, he transferred to VARREL, where he achieved a playoff berth and a sixth-place finish in VCJ 2024 Split 2.

RedLight

RedLight, who made his Valorant debut in 2021, also signed with Douyu Gaming in 2023 and participated in VCT 2023 CHINA. In 2024, he returned to the Korean scene, signing with SLT, where he delivered excellent results, including a second-place finish in VCK 2024 Split 1.

With the new roster, which includes three experienced players, Dplus KIA is preparing for VALORANT Challengers 2024 Korea: Split 3, starting at the end of this month on October 30.
