DetonatioN FocusMe's women's team says goodbye to two members

Today, the Japanese organization DetonatioN FocusMe GC announced changes in their women's Valorant roster. It was revealed that members koyori and yuhi are leaving the team after a short period of collaboration.

In their official social media, the girls bid farewell to their former team. Interestingly, koyori decided not only to leave the team but also to take a break from her Valorant career. She announced her plans to focus on her studies in the near future, expressing her gratitude to the organization for the experience and emotions.

I've decided to prioritize university and step back from the program! I had a lot of mixed feelings about my first team being so large, but I'm really glad I got to play with these five members of the team! Thank you for your support.

Koyori joined the club in March 2023 when the organization was rebuilding its Valorant roster. Later, when one of the new lineup members left, yuhi was brought in as a replacement. Together with the other members, the girls showed quite good results during the season. The team failed the first stage of VCT 2023: Game Changers Japan Split 1, finishing in 9th-12th place, but later redeemed themselves in the next stage, VCT 2023: Game Changers Japan Split 2, where they emerged victorious. After that, the team had another unsuccessful performance at VCT 2023: Game Changers East Asia, finishing in 5th-8th place, and thus missed the chance to participate in the women's world championship.

The organization has not yet announced who will replace the departing members. Due to the latest results, the team did not qualify for the upcoming championship, and therefore, has no tournaments planned in the near future. This means that DetonatioN FocusMe GC has enough time to make replacements and strengthen their lineup for the upcoming competitive season.
