Details of VALORANT Challengers Indonesia Split 1 have been revealed

Recently, registration dates for the tournament qualifiers were announced. The VALORANT Challengers Indonesia Split 1 tournament will take place from January 24 to March 31, with registration open until January 19. The initial matches are set to begin on the 24th of this month.

The qualifiers will span four days and consist of two stages. In the first stage, participants will engage in bo-3 format battles, with all registered teams competing until a single elimination determines the top eight. These eight teams will proceed to the next round, and the matches are scheduled for January 24-25.

The second stage involves a showdown between the selected eight teams and will take place from January 26 to 28. The format is double-elimination, with teams needing two victories to advance. The top four teams from this stage will receive direct invitations to the main event.

The regular season is scheduled to run from February 3 to March 10. The four qualifying teams will face off against two invited teams in a round-robin format of bo-3 matches over nine days.

At the end of the competition, no teams will be eliminated; instead, the seeding for the double-elimination bracket will be determined. Matches will continue in a bo-3 format, except for the grand final and lower grand final, which will be in a bo-5 format as usual.

This year, the tournament's prize pool has been nearly halved to $15,000, down from $25,000 in 2023. The reasons for the prize pool reduction have not been disclosed at this time.
