Yesterday, professional Syrian player Radwan "CrYsTaL" Alnaasan shared sad news with his fans. It has become known that Radwan plans to end his career in Valorant, but did not disclose the reason.
In his Twitter account, CrYsTaL stated that after a journey in Valorant that lasted a year and a half, it was time to end his career. He thanked his former teammates and all the people he met along the way.
After an incredible esports journey, it's time to say goodbye. I'm very grateful to all the wonderful people I've met and for the joy we shared together. I wish everyone continued success.
Radwan "CrYsTaL" Alnaasan started his Valorant journey in May 2022 with MLC Esports. The professional only played a few matches with the team and did not win any prizes. After that, Radwan spent some time as a substitute in various teams until he joined Onyx Ravens at the beginning of 2023. With them, he won 4th place at the Valorant Challengers 2023 MENA: Resilience Split 1, and later won the Playtonia Ramadan Gaming Challenge.
The main reasons why CrYsTaL decided to leave the discipline remain unknown. However, it can be assumed that the player simply did not achieve the desired results, as he earned only approximately $1,000 in prize money during his career. It is unknown whether Radwan will return to the discipline, but speaking with his fans, he hinted that it might be possible. One fan asked CrYsTaL - "will you come back stronger? or will you perform elsewhere?" To which Radwan replied, "of course bro."
