Cross-platform support in Valorant is confirmed? - Data miners have found new mentions of gaming consoles

The release of Valorant on gaming consoles is planned for 2024, as various sources and insiders regularly report. The main concern among regular players was that the developers might add cross-platform support, and today their fears were confirmed.

The well-known Brazilian data miner, KINGDOM LABORATORIES, who provides most of the interesting findings in the game files, shared important code today. In their official Twitter account, they published codes that were found in the Valorant files. As can be seen in the image, the code mentions several platforms, PS4, XBOX, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices Android and iOS. This primarily suggests that Riot Games are planning to indeed add cross-platform support in Valorant.

Although most players reacted negatively to the potential new features in the comments, there are those who disagree with the general opinion. They suggest that these files are not a direct hint at cross-platform support, but rather just confirmation that Valorant will be available on all the aforementioned platforms.

Ultimately, despite all the findings and assumptions, the community cannot be sure whether there will be cross-platform support or not. We can only wait for official comments from the developers themselves, or the release of Valorant on gaming consoles and mobile devices.
