CREST GAMING launches a VALORANT academy division with new players and coach

The Japanese esports team Crest Gaming has announced the creation of an academic division for VALORANT. As part of this initiative, the team has welcomed a new coach, Flax, who previously worked in another division of the company. The main goal is to develop young players and strengthen the team's roster.

Crest Gaming is managed by a company with experience in educational services and is establishing an organizational structure based on the principles of a pyramid. This system includes divisions such as the "Sato Gakuen Human Campus Nozomi High School — Esports Course" and the specialized "Human Academy Educational Complex — Esports College." These institutions, along with the CGA team, serve as the foundation for preparing future professionals in the esports industry.

To enhance player training, Crest Gaming has decided to reorganize the roster and invite former professional players to act as mentors. Upcoming plans include participating in community tournaments and preparing players for the transition to the professional level.

We are actively developing the next generation of players, giving them the opportunity to learn and grow. In our academic division, students receive training from coaches and former professional players, such as Nerufi, who trains a top-tier team.

A recent selection process among Human Academy graduates led to the decision to strengthen the Crest Gaming academy roster. This is part of a strategy aimed at creating an environment for the growth of young players and identifying promising candidates for professional teams.

As part of this initiative, the academy has also recruited new players, including e1even, elle, Ruki, Tonakai, and Yukipeep. Going forward, the team will focus on participating in community tournaments to improve the players' skills and promote them into the professional roster.
