The first stage of the open qualifiers for the upcoming The Cozy Clash 2023 has recently concluded. After four intense days, the women's team Complexity GX3 secured the second slot in the main tournament.
Interestingly, the organization's reaction to the girls' victory was quite muted, and they themselves did not comment on their result. On the one hand, the team was considered a favorite due to their victories during the season, so this result was somewhat expected. On the other hand, Complexity GX3 lost their first match, resulting in a drop to the lower bracket.

Complexity GX3 began their tournament journey with an unexpected defeat against Never Woulda Thought, losing 1-2. Following this, the team entered the lower bracket, where they achieved a series of victories over Berzerkers Purple 2-0 and Supernova Galaxy 2-1, advancing to the finals. There, they faced their initial opponents from Never Woulda Thought and this time, the girls managed to take their revenge. After losing the first map Haven 10-13, Complexity GX3 fully redeemed themselves with two wins on Lotus 13-11 and Ascent 13-10.
As a result of the match, Complexity GX3 receives the second invitation to the upcoming The Cozy Clash 2023. Remember, the tournament itself will take place from December 15 to 17, in a LAN format in the USA. The 4 best teams from the qualifying stages will compete for a total prize pool of $40,000. The tournament is organized by Complexity Gaming, sponsored by Lenovo Legion.
