Clove will become available on the professional scene starting from the 3rd week of competition in the VCT: International League

With the regular season in the highest competitive league of VCT in full swing, it's about to get even more interesting. Last night, tournament organizers announced that starting from the third week of competition, professional players will have access to the agent Clove, who was previously banned.

Recall that on April 3, before the start of the competitions in all Valorant regions, Riot Games announced the ban on their official social media. It concerned the new agent Clove, whose selection was prohibited for the first two weeks of competition. For more details, read our article. Today, during the night, before the start of the third competitive week, organizers changed their decision, which they announced on the official Valorant Champions Tour account.

Clove is back! The latest VALORANT agent will be eligible to compete in the International League matches, starting from #VCT Week 3!

As revealed in the official statement, professional players starting from the third week of competition will have the opportunity to choose Clove, significantly diversifying matches on the esports scene. It remains unknown whether the latest agent will be popular. Perhaps, a similar story to agents Deadlock and Iso may repeat, as they didn't gain much popularity during their debut in tournaments.

It's worth reminding that the third week of competition kicks off fastest in the EMEA region, where the first match will take place on April 17. Therefore, tomorrow we'll be able to see if Clove finds its popularity on the professional Valorant scene.
