Cloud9 Dominates NRG, and FURIA’s Second Roster Defeats 2G – Results of Day Two at VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff

The second day of VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff brought a series of unexpected results. Despite visa issues, FURIA secured their first win of the season, while Cloud9 proved that roster changes during the offseason strengthened the team rather than disrupted it.

FURIA Esports vs. 2G Esports

The day opened with a match between FURIA and 2G. This game was highly unpredictable, as FURIA had to play with their second roster due to visa issues affecting the main lineup. With those issues now resolved, the main team will join the competition in the next round. However, FURIA’s substitute roster managed to claim their first win of the season, defeating 2G with a 2:0 scoreline. This match also marked 2G’s debut in VCT history.
