Cloud9 bids farewell to another player from the Valorant roster

The American organization Cloud9 has already made numerous changes to its Valorant roster, and it seemed the lineup was finally complete. However, today it was announced that the team's management has decided to part ways with another player, Kaleb "moose" Jayne, who has been with Cloud9 for less than a year.

All Recent Changes in Cloud9

Like most other participants in the VCT league, Cloud9 is using the current offseason to refine its Valorant roster and prepare for the upcoming season. Initially, the team parted ways with two players and signed a new captain, who left the roster just two months later. Subsequently, several players were brought in as replacements, making the roster look finalized for the upcoming season. Unexpected Departure of Moose

Despite common expectations, it was revealed today that the club's management decided to part ways with Kaleb "moose" Jayne by mutual agreement. In the team's official social media post, it was stated that both parties have reached a decision that will benefit them in the future.

As of now, Moose has been granted permission to explore offers from other teams, although his contract with Cloud9 is still active. Both sides agree that this decision is the best choice for the long term. The team is actively testing a fifth player to prepare its lineup for the upcoming Kickoff event.

Kaleb "moose" Jayne joined Cloud9 in March 2024. During his time with the team, he participated in two VCT 2024 events: Americas Stage 1 and Stage 2, where the team placed 5th-6th, as well as in several offseason tournaments, including the Red Bull Home Ground #5, where Cloud9 secured second place and $20,000 in prize money.

Currently, it is unclear who will be Cloud9's fifth player as the team continues testing candidates. Stay tuned to the organization's official social media channels for updates on their Valorant roster.
