In November, during the SEN City Classic tournament, Rossy, despite his role as captain (IGL), remained silent and even avoided communication with the team, which caused frustration among his teammates. After the team placed last in the tournament, Rossy acknowledged his faults and apologized, but he believes this was the beginning of a rift with part of the team.
Later, at the 2024 Red Bull Home Ground tournament, Rossy continued playing with Cloud9, and the team secured second place. In this tournament, Rossy showed his best performance, maintaining communication with the team even after the loss to FNATIC.
After the tournament, Rossy took a short break for Thanksgiving and then returned to training, which started off successfully. The team showed great results, including a dominant victory over 100 Thieves. However, on the third day of practice, Rossy felt a drop in form, and his communication difficulties caught the team's attention.
Soon after, he went for a walk with OXY, where they met head coach Immi, who mentioned they needed to talk. It was at that moment Rossy realized he might be removed from the roster. Upon returning to the gaming house, he spoke with the team, expressing his willingness to address the issues and continue competing, but he also made it clear that if a decision was made to part ways, he would accept it.
Later, Rossy learned that part of the team was not in favor of him continuing with the roster. There were doubts about his motivation as an IGL, with some thinking it was driven by personal interests. Rossy admitted that his behavior and communication with the team, especially outside of the game, could have been better.
After the tournament and during the final practices, it became clear that his departure from the team was inevitable. Rossy had prepared for this in advance, packing his things before the official announcement. Despite the separation, he expressed gratitude to Cloud9 and stated his confidence in the team's future success. He also praised his former teammates — OXY, v1c, and Xeppaa — especially highlighting Xeppaa as one of the best teammates he had ever played with.
