Close to victory, close to the monitor: Shyy from KRÜ Esports once again captures community attention

VCT Americas 2024 Stage 1 is currently underway in Los Angeles, where participation in Masters Shanghai is at stake. Today, a match against FURIA took place, in which the KRÜ Esports team achieved an impressive victory with a score of 2-1. However, the hot topic for discussion was not the team's victory, but rather Shyy monitor placement, which was too close to his face.

Shyy, who made a significant contribution to the team's season opener against FURIA, with 38 kills and 32 deaths showcasing his solid gameplay. However, he played with his face too close to the monitor throughout two maps. After the match, he noted on his Twitter account: "The monitor angle was off."

It is known that Shyy is originally known for sitting forward and having the monitor close to his face, but such a close posture is likely a first. On Reddit, one fan expressed their opinion that "Shyy is sniffing out enemies."

The next KRÜ Esports encounter is scheduled for April 14 against the "Omega" group team MIBR, for whom this match will mark their debut in the VCT Americas 2024 Stage 1 tournament.
