Philip Koskinas, head of Vanguard anti-cheat development, reports on his social media page X that the anti-cheat is blocking innocent players' game accounts accessed by cheaters.
Individuals who resort to dishonest means to achieve their goals are not only ruining the gaming experience but are also hacking into others' accounts to play on them. However, Vanguard, which detects such individuals in advance, issues game bans to the accounts they have accessed.
The head of Vanguard development reports that they are aware that a large number of cheaters gain access to game accounts that do not belong to them, and as a result, these accounts will be banned.
We're seeing a lot of cheaters re-appearing on accounts that don't belong to them, and Vanguard preemptively locks these to avoid the damage.

These aren't "false bans," you just need to submit a ticket for recovery.
Also please enable MFA. PLEASE.
If you are one of those who received this ban, you should contact support with this issue. They will assist you, and you should also be cautious about your security, not share your data with anyone, and enable two-factor authentication.
